Bellbridge Primary School

CAMPS

Bellbridge Primary School offers camps for Grade 4 and 6 students. These camps offer students opportunities that may not be offered in the traditional school setting.
GRADE 4 CAMP
Our Grade 4 students enjoy their first camp experience in order to develop independence and strengthen their social skills.

The cost for the Grade 4 Camp has typically  been approximately $230, which covers accommodation, meals, transport and supervised activities.

The Grade 4 camp alternates between a bush camp and a beach camp, with recent venues including:

GRADE 6 CAMP
The Grade 6 Camp is a fantastic opportunity for the students to take on different leadership roles and positions of responsibility; further develop social skills, initiative and independence; and celebrate the final year of primary school together.

In recent years, the Grade 6 Camp has been held at Mt Morton Lodge in Belgrave Heights. The campsite is well equipped with comfortable cabins, dining room, recreation room, a stage and outdoor socialising and recreation areas. The students are involved in a range of activities including hiking, bush-cooking, archery, yabbying, low ropes, rock-climbing and lots more. We have also taken a ride on the historic steam train, ‘Puffing Billy’ and enjoyed all the sights of the Dandenong Ranges.

The cost for the Grade 6 Camp has typically been approximately $300, which covers accommodation, meals, transport and supervised activities.

In order to make our Camp experience an enjoyable one, parents have assisted with supervising activity and duty groups, participating in adventure and sporting activities, and having lots of fun!
