Remote and flexible learningRemote learning will continue for the first week of Term 4 (until 9th October).
The Victorian Government has announced that students enrolled in all primary year levels (Prep to Grade 6) in metropolitan Melbourne will return to on-site learning from Monday 12th October. For Week 1 (5th-9th October), the following students are able to attend school for on-site supervision, but will also undertake the remote learning program:
Parents seeking bookings for the on-site program for one or more days in Week 1 (Oct 5-9) should have already submitted an on-site attendance form. To discuss a request for a booking form, contact the principal at [email protected] or call the office on 9749 6161. |
HOW LONG SHOULD BE SPENT ON SCHOOLWORK?
Guidelines from the Department of Education suggest a daily minimum of: Grade P-2 students = Approx. 2.0-2.5 hours daily (including 30-45 minutes of play-based learning and physical activity) Grade 3-6 students = Approx. 3.0-3.5 hours daily (including 30 minutes of physical activity)
